        PROGRAM NAME: "MAPPER" [v0.7] {June 1999}
        AUTHOR: Jim Vassilakos (jimvassila@aol.com / jimv@empirenet.com)
        FUNCTION: World Mapper
        OPERATING SYSTEM: IBM (MS-DOS)
        SIZE: 516k zipped
COMMENTS: Create maps with hexagonal color-tiles so you
can share your RPG campaign world with the rest of
us on the Net. Requires VGA graphics or better. May
attach campaign notes to the map via an easy-to-learn
menuing system. Some unfinished sample worlds already
included. Note, you must use "-d" option when unzipping:
              >>>>>>>> pkunzip -d mapper07.zip <<<<<<<<

If you didn't specify the -d option when unzipping this software
package, then it probably won't work right. You'd be best off just
moving the zipfile to an empty directory and typing:

   pkunzip -d mapper07.zip

If you did this already, then you can run the program by simply
typing "mapper" in the directory in which it was unzipped.

If you have any questions which were not covered in the program's
help files, feel free to email me. Also, if you come across any
bugs in the program, _please_ email me. Note that the program has
changed so much since last month that there are likely to be some
bugs still hiding in the code. Please read help\bomb.txt for ideas
of what to do if the program bombs.

PS: If you draw up any campaign maps using this program, please
send me a copy so I can include them in the next version.
I'm mainly looking for maps that have been "fleshed out" with
location notes and so forth. Put some meat on those bones. I
will also be happy to convert maps from previous versions to
conform with this version's data format.
